I have realized that there are three types of meetup groups for women... SAHMs with kids ages 0-4, nightlife social groups, and working women. Those are great for those people. I am none of those. POCWSN = Parents of children with special needs I know many parents that are in need of support, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on. As a mom of a child with ASD and ADHD, I know the frustrations that arise on a daily basis. My goal is to find ways to support one another. I would like to establish play dates, coffee breaks, Parents night out and whatever any one else feels they need.
